After leaving broadcast specialist consultancy, markettiers, where he was a director for 16 years, Russell has been producing and presenting his own csuitepodcast series and has now interviewed over 100 guests across more than 30 shows.
The series started as part of his voluntary role as a member of the former CIPR’s Social Media Panel, where Russell set up the series in May 2014 with the initial aim of targeting the hard to reach members of the csuite, to educate them about the role of social media in PR. However, the content has now grown to appeal to the wider communications audience and discusses all aspects of social media, digital communications and innovations, featuring senior executives discussing the latest trends, campaigns and issues in the industry, sharing best in practice case studies. In 2016, interviews have been recorded at the World PR Forum in Toronto, Cannes Lions, European Communications Summit in Brussels and the Global ICCO PR Summit in Oxford.
